This promo for Sheffield all girl rock outfit Maeven was shot in about 4 hours on 19th April 2008 at an abandoned church in Sheffield and is a good example of a simple but effective performance video. Maeven have toured the US with the likes of Dogs D'Amour so were slightly less than impressed when they turned up to the video shoot on a cold grey wet afternoon at a dilapidated abandoned church and had to get their gear inside through a window! Luckily for us they saw the funny side - after about half an hour they even thought they might actually get a video out of it! At the end of the days shoot they admitted to us that they'd actually had a whale of a time and are very excited about the video.
