This promo for Sheffield all girl rock outfit Maeven was shot in about 4 hours on 19th April 2008 at an abandoned church in Sheffield and is a good example of a simple but effective performance video produced on a budget of just £300. Maeven have toured the US with the likes of Dogs D'Amour so were slightly less than impressed when they turned up to the video shoot on a cold grey wet afternoon at a dilapidated abandoned church and had to get their gear inside through a window! Luckily for us they saw the funny side - after about half an hour they even thought they might actually get a video out of it! At the end of the days shoot they admitted to us that they'd actually had a whale of a time and are very excited about the video.
